[Intro]Wila,
gather
round,
it
is
a
special
day!
Ei,
the
star
is
shining
bright
today!
Yoo!
[Verse 1] The
sun
is
dancing
on
the
Chilanga
streets
today
The
sun
is
dancing
on
the
Chilanga
streets
today
There
is
a
special
light
that’
s
leading
the
way
Twelve
years
ago,
a
star
was
born
so
bright
Malumbo,
you
are
our
joy,
our
pure
delight
We
put
the
shoes
on,
we
celebrate
your
name
Life
is
a
garden
and
you
are
the
flame
Aziele,
look
at
how
the
world
begins
to
glow
Watching
you
bloom,
watching
you
grow
[Chorus] Happy
birthday
Malumbo,
shine
so
bright
Twelve
years
of
wonder,
such
a
beautiful
sight
From
the
morning
sun
to
the
evening
dew
We
are
all
here
just
to
celebrate
you
Oh,
Malumbo,
you
are
the
pride
of
the
day
Chop
life
today,
in
the
very
best
way!
MWEBANTU,
let
the
trumpets
sound
for
you
Happy
birthday
Malumbo,
our
dream
come
true
[Verse 2] Twelve
years
of
wisdom,
twelve
years
of
grace
I
see
the
future
shining
in
your
face
Don’
t
stop
dreaming,
reach
for
the
stars
above
Surrounded
by
family,
surrounded
by
love
Iwe?
You
have
a
spirit
that
is
gold
A
story
of
greatness
that
is
yet
to
be
told
So
put
on
your
dancing
shoes,
let
the
rhythm
play
It
is
your
moment,
it
is
your
day
[Chorus] Happy
birthday
Malumbo,
shine
so
bright
Twelve
years
of
wonder,
such
a
beautiful
sight
From
the
morning
sun
to
the
evening
dew
We
are
all
here
just
to
celebrate
you
Oh,
Malumbo,
you
are
the
pride
of
the
day
Chop
life
today,
in
the
very
best
way!
Twiitwii,
let
the
trumpets
sound
for
you
Happy
birthday
Malumbo,
our
dream
come
true
[Bridge] Ah
ah,
look
at
you
turning
twelve
today
Everything
is
colors,
everything
is
okay
We
thank
the
heavens
for
the
gift
of
you
Everything
is
fresh,
everything
is
new
Celebrate,
Malumbo,
clap
your
hands
Best
wishes
coming
from
across
the
lands
[Verse 3] Twelve
candles
burning
on
your
cake
so
sweet
Dancing
to
the
highlife,
moving
your
feet
May
your
heart
be
light
and
your
path
be
clear
May
you
smile
through
every
day
of
the
year
AUNTIE
lina,
grab
a
plate,
let
us
join
the
feast
From
the
north
to
the
south,
the
west
to
the
east
We
toast
to
your
health,
we
toast
to
your
soul
Watching
you
reach
every
single
goal
[Chorus] Happy
birthday
Malumbo,
shine
so
bright
Twelve
years
of
wonder,
such
a
beautiful
sight
From
the
morning
sun
to
the
evening
dew
We
are
all
here
just
to
celebrate
you
Oh,
Malumbo,
you
are
the
pride
of
the
day
Chop
life
today,
in
the
very
best
way!
MBoKMAa,
let
the
trumpets
sound
for
you
Happy
birthday
Malumbo,
our
dream
come
true
[Outro] Happy
birthday
Malumbo,
our
shining
star
No
matter
how
high,
no
matter
how
far
We
love
you
today,
we
love
you
always
Happy
birthday
to
you,
for
all
of
your
days!
Malumbo,
Lukondeo!
