Late Chief Isi Mmuo Oluwoo Ifeanyi Edwin Uyamadu, fondly known as Nwazelibeaku, was born in 1949 into the illustrious Uyamadu family of Umuezee, Obinagu Ireh, Obosi, Anambra State. He was a man of honour, integrity, hard work, and deep commitment to his family, community, and humanity.
Chief Uyamadu began his early education at St. Andrew’s Community School, Obosi. After completing his schooling, he embarked on an apprenticeship in trading at the Main Market, Onitsha, where he laid the foundation for his future success.
Raised in a family that instilled in him the values of discipline, hard work, respect, and service to humanity.
His sincerity, uprightness, and exemplary character earned him the confidence and respect of his family. In recognition of these qualities, he was installed as Eze Ogwugwu, The family head DiokpaUmuezee.
Beyond his family and business accomplishments, Chief Uyamadu held a significant traditional and spiritual position in Obosi Ukwala Kingdom as the Chief Priest of Okwu Olisa Obosi, a responsibility through which he became known as Isi Olisa Obosi.
Above all his accomplishments, Chief Uyamadu was a loving husband to Ezinne Ifeyinwa Uyamadu and a devoted father. Together with his beloved wife, he nurtured a home built on love, unity, discipline, and strong family values.
He is greatly missed by his beloved children:
Chukwudubem, Chidimma, Obianuju, Chibuzor, Onyiyechukwu, Ebelechukwu, and Olisaemeka.
Chief Uyamadu was equally a proud and affectionate grandfather.
He is also remembered with love by his grandchildren: Richard, Clinton, Best, Rejoice, Prince, Princess, Alexander, and Anayah.
Late Oluwoo Ifeanyi Edwin Uyamadu was a a devoted traditional priest.
You fought a good fight, lived a life of purpose, and left behind memories that time cannot erase.
You will forever remain our father, our pride, and our cherished icon.
Rest peacefully, Daddy, in the bosom of the Almighty. Your memory will live on forever from your lovely daughter in whom you are well pleased;
