Yeah, check the rhythm!
Left, right, move your feet, let’s go!
Listen up now, move with the beat!
It’s time to move, it’s time to groove!
Yeah, teacher in the room!
Chale!
Early in the morning when the sun is up
Got my backpack ready, fill my drinking cup
We heading to the school with a happy face
Running to the front, we don't need to race
Teacher standing there with a golden smile
Teaching us the lessons, making it worthwhile
Listen to the words that they say to you
Everything they teach is for the things you do
Move your shoulder now, shimmy to the left
Listening to teacher is the very best!
Obey your teachers, hear what they say
They lead you to the light every single day
Move your feet, Azonto style, let it flow
Dancing in the classroom, watch us grow
Obey your teachers, work hard, aim high
Reaching for the stars, dancing in the sky
Yeah, we moving, oyiwa!
Books on the table, pencils in the hand
Best education in all of the land
We study our letters, we study the math
Teacher is guiding us down the right path
Wonim? It is wisdom that we seek today
Chop life with knowledge, that is the way
No time for resting, we keep on the climb
Learning our rhythm, keeping the time
Teacher is proud of the work that we do
Building the future for me and for you!
Obey your teachers, hear what they say
They lead you to the light every single day
Move your feet, Azonto style, let it flow
Dancing in the classroom, watch us grow
Obey your teachers, work hard, aim high
Reaching for the stars, dancing in the sky
Yeah, we moving, ei!
Step to the rhythm, hear the horn blow
Take it real easy, take it real slow
Wisdom is golden, shine like the sun
School is the place where we have all the fun
Yoo! Keep it moving!
Years will be passing, we look at the past
Remember the lessons we learned that would last
Gratitude always for mentors we find
Leaving the shadows and leaving behind
Any frustration, we walk with our pride
Teacher is always right there by our side
Ah ah! Keep on rising!
Obey your teachers, hear what they say
They lead you to the light every single day
Move your feet, Azonto style, let it flow
Dancing in the classroom, watch us grow
Obey your teachers, work hard, aim high
Reaching for the stars, dancing in the sky
Yeah, we moving!
Obey your teachers, hear what they say
Keep on dancing, chase the day
Chale, keep on moving!
Oyiwa, we are done!
