Oh, glory to the Highest today
We celebrate a love that found its way
From Tamara to Mrs. Cimbaranga, hear the sound
Of a love so true that blessing has been found
We took the step, we honored every vow
The date is set, we're standing steady now
We met the parents, they opened up the door
Said "She is yours," we couldn't ask for more
(Yes Lord!)
Oh, what a step of faith we take today
Building a future in the light and in the way
Tamara, you're a bride, standing tall and strong
In this house of love, you truly do belong
Blessings overflow, let the praises ring
To the union that the Heavens bring
(Thank You Jesus!)
People are talking, some words they might say
But we keep our eyes on the narrow way
I say to you child, keep pushing through the gate
This big commitment is a beautiful fate
Ignore the noise, ignore the nonsense too
Just focus on the work that you must do
(Hallelujah!)
Now that you've moved from stage to stage
We're writing a brand new, golden page
Be cautious, be wise, let your spirit grow
There's a fountain of favor that starts to flow
Though the world may doubt, though the shadows fall
You have the grace to overcome it all
Don't listen to the skeptics or the talk of the town
They'll try to cast their shadows on your wedding gown
But you just do your part, be faithful and be kind
Keep the promise of the Savior in your mind
It's not about the place or the land you're from
It's about the kingdom heart and the love to come
(Praise Him!)
Oh, what a step of faith we take today
Building a future in the light and in the way
Tamara, you're a bride, standing tall and strong
In this house of love, you truly do belong
Blessings overflow, let the praises ring
To the union that the Heavens bring
Congratulations on the step you've made
In this love that will never, ever fade
Amen, it is finished, the blessing is here
Walk in the joy, let go of the fear
(Amen! Thank You Jesus!)
