(Spoken by Youth)
Listen up, yeah!
We are the future, we are the light!
Let’s go!
From the streets to the classrooms, we rising tall
Lusean Child’s Trust, we answering the call
Education is the key, open every single door
We don't need to struggle, we want so much more
Sharp sharp, hold your head up high, never look down
Building up the community, the best in the town
Mentorship is guiding us, showing us the way
Everything is brighter, starting from today
Lusean Child, yeah we standing so strong
Lusean Child, where the future belongs
Lift your voices up, let the melody ring
It’s a brand new season, hear the children sing
(Sho! Aweh!)
Lusean Child, yeah we standing so strong
Lusean Child, where the future belongs
Hand in hand, we moving as a unified team
Chasing every vision, living out the dream
Kindness is the language that we speak every day
Helping out a brother in a beautiful way
Eish, look at how we shine, we glow in the sun
The work has just started, it has only begun
Empowerment is moving, it’s a rhythmic flow
Watch the Lusean spirit continue to grow
Lusean Child, yeah we standing so strong
Lusean Child, where the future belongs
Lift your voices up, let the melody ring
It’s a brand new season, hear the children sing
(Yebo! Let's go!)
Lusean Child, yeah we standing so strong
Lusean Child, where the future belongs
(Dance Break - Heavy Log Drums)
Clap your hands now, feel the beat move
Everybody find your rhythm, get into the groove
Education! (Hope!)
Community! (Love!)
We are rising to the heavens up above!
Tenacious hearts beating with a powerful sound
Feet hitting steady on the African ground
Mentors by our side, giving us the boost
Lusean Child’s Trust is the absolute truth
Don't let nobody tell you that you cannot win
This is where the journey of a hero can begin
Asambe, to the top, we never looking back
We staying on the vision, we stay on the track
Lusean Child, yeah we standing so strong
Lusean Child, where the future belongs
Lift your voices up, let the melody ring
It’s a brand new season, hear the children sing
(Sharp sharp!)
Lusean Child, yeah we standing so strong
Lusean Child, where the future belongs
Lusean Child!
Yeah, we moving forward!
Keep the dream alive!
(Aweh! Sho!)
Lusean Child, we are the future!
