(Ayy!) Storax School, stand up!
Independence Day, Traditional Day
We celebrate the roots, the truth, the way
Let the bass drop!
Today we look back at where we come from
Without a culture, we are like a beating drum
With no rhythm, a lost generation in the haze
But look at Storax, we set the world ablaze
We defined by our roots, yeah we walk with pride
From the Copperbelt to the city, we got nothing to hide
It's independence in the air, traditional style too
Celebrating heritage, the red, the black, the gold and the blue
Happy Traditional Day, yeah we celebrate the soul
Independence Day, now we taking full control
Storax School family, we stand as one today
Ubuntu is the key, showing us the way
Love covers every sin, let it flow so bright
Protecting one another, shining through the night
Nna, listen close, it’s all about the unity
Love is the language, creating our community
We don't talk behind backs, we don't carry hate
If they not around, we keep the record straight
Ubuntu is the spirit, let it bloom and grow
Jehovah blessing Storax, watch the favor flow
No bad energy here, only building up the grace
Put a smile on your face, this is the winning race
(Yoh!) People without culture are lost in the dark
But we found the flame, we found the spark
Storax! (Ayy!)
Together we rise, together we stand
Building the future for the heart of the land
Happy Traditional Day, yeah we celebrate the soul
Independence Day, now we taking full control
Storax School family, we stand as one today
Ubuntu is the key, showing us the way
Love covers every sin, let it flow so bright
Protecting one another, shining through the night
Jehovah bless us all, keep the vision clear
Storax School, this is our year
Celebrate the culture, celebrate the day
Independence, freedom, yeah we here to stay
(Ayy! Yoh! Storax!)
One love, one soul, we home!
