Oh, what a day, what a glorious day
We celebrate the gift of you, Joshua
Thirteen years, a milestone in the sun
Joshua Musonda, your journey has just begun
With a heart so bright and a spirit so true
God has a mighty vision waiting just for you
Walk in the light, keep your eyes on the prize
With the favor of the Lord right before your eyes
Yes Lord, we lift you up today
As you walk along the narrow, blessed way
Oh Joshua, happy thirteenth birthday to you
May the grace of God carry you through
Be a man of honor, be a man of light
Let your character shine, let your future be bright
Joshua Musonda, stand tall and be strong
In the house of the Lord, this is where you belong
Praise Him, for the boy you have become
Your season of purpose has finally begun
Listen to the wisdom that the elders provide
Keep the word of truth as your faithful guide
Responsibility is the seed that you sow
Watch the garden of your life begin to grow
It’s not just the age, it’s the path that you tread
With the blessings of Heaven resting on your head
Glory, yes glory, for the man you’ll be
Living out a life of integrity
Oh Joshua, happy thirteenth birthday to you
May the grace of God carry you through
Be a man of honor, be a man of light
Let your character shine, let your future be bright
Joshua Musonda, stand tall and be strong
In the house of the Lord, this is where you belong
Praise Him, for the boy you have become
Your season of purpose has finally begun
Grow in grace, grow in love
Sent from the Father up above
Joshua, stay humble, stay kind
Leaving all the shadows far behind
Thank You Jesus, for this special day
Blessing Joshua in every single way
Take this new chapter, write it with care
Bathed in the power of a mother’s prayer
You are a light, you are a leader indeed
Planting the future, planting the seed
With grace as your armor, you’ll never fall
You’re ready to answer the heavenly call
Amen, let the anthem ring out loud
Of a life that makes the Kingdom proud
Oh Joshua, happy thirteenth birthday to you
May the grace of God carry you through
Be a man of honor, be a man of light
Let your character shine, let your future be bright
Joshua Musonda, stand tall and be strong
In the house of the Lord, this is where you belong
Praise Him, for the boy you have become
Your season of purpose has finally begun
Happy birthday, Joshua Musonda
Walk in His grace, walk in His power
Thirteen years, the best is yet to come
Praise Him, the work is already done
Yes Lord, Amen.
