*"Ask and Know"*
*[Verse 1]*
When these words before you lie,
Pause and lift them to the sky.
Think how merciful He’s been,
From the first man down to when
You receive this light today.
Ponder it, and do not stray.
*[Verse 2]*
Then in prayer go down and ask
God the Father for the task:
“Is this true?” in Christ’s own name,
With a heart without a stain,
Faith sincere and pure intent—
He will send what He has meant.
*[Verse 3]*
By the Holy Ghost’s own power,
Truth will come in holy hour.
Every thing shall be made plain,
Doubt and darkness break and wane.
Know the truth, and testify:
God will answer from on high.
