Oh, praise Him
Today we lift our voices, yes Lord
Grace flows like a river on this holy day
Watching the sunlight chase the clouds away
My Daddy, a pillar, a shepherd so true
We’re gathered in love to celebrate you
Yes Lord, we honor the path that you walk
Listen to the wisdom in the way that you talk
My spiritual father, the pride of my heart
You taught us to seek where the blessings start
Oh, Daddy, we’re singing your praise today
Happy birthday, let the church shout and say
Full of grace, you’re a light in the dark
You’ve left on our lives such a beautiful mark
My Daddy, oh Daddy, you’re heaven-sent
With you every moment is time well-spent
Oh, glory, we thank You for him, Amen
We’d choose you as father again and again
All the family is gathered, we’re standing in line
To thank the Good Lord for a life so divine
Grace sends her love with a heart full of cheer
We’re so blessed to have you another new year
Sarah is singing with joy in her soul
To see how you’ve kept us and made us all whole
John says one-one, yeah John one one
The light of the world has surely begun
Oh, Daddy, we’re singing your praise today
Happy birthday, let the church shout and say
Full of grace, you’re a light in the dark
You’ve left on our lives such a beautiful mark
My Daddy, oh Daddy, you’re heaven-sent
With you every moment is time well-spent
Oh, glory, we thank You for him, Amen
We’d choose you as father again and again
John one one, in the beginning was the Word
The sweetest prayer that we ever heard
You taught us the Gospel, you taught us the way
That’s why we’re dancing and praising today
Thank You Jesus, for a man so bold
Your legacy is worth more than silver or gold
From the morning sunrise to the evening light
Everything you do, Daddy, is shining so bright
I’m proud to be your daughter, I say it with pride
With the spirit of God living deep down inside
John one one, let the truth be told
Your story is sacred, a sight to behold
We love you, we honor you, cheers to the best
May you be given the heaven-sent rest
Oh, Daddy, we’re singing your praise today
Happy birthday, let the church shout and say
Full of grace, you’re a light in the dark
You’ve left on our lives such a beautiful mark
My Daddy, oh Daddy, you’re heaven-sent
With you every moment is time well-spent
Oh, glory, we thank You for him, Amen
We’d choose you as father again and again
Happy birthday, Daddy, we love you so
Let the joy of the Lord continue to grow
Yes Lord, thank You for my Daddy
Amen, Amen, and Amen!
