*In The Middle Of The Night*
_Oh, in the middle of the night_
_The stars were shining, so bright_
_The moon was full of light_
_And that's where our love started, my King and I._
_Verse 1:_
Your locs were blowing in the midnight breeze,
Your smile pulled me to my knees,
White dress, your hand in mine,
God whispered, "This love is divine."
_Chorus:_
Oh, in the middle of the night,
When the stars were shining bright,
Moon full, your eyes on me,
That's where our souls agreed to be.
_Verse 2:_
You leaned on the wall, so cool, so true,
I saw my future, and it was you,
Leaning on you now, head on your chest,
In your arms, Mama found her rest.
_Bridge:_
No need for sunrise, we had the moon,
Our hearts beat in the same tune,
Park bench, white wall, anywhere at all,
With you, my King, I have it all.
_Outro:_
So in the middle of the night,
Stars shining, moon full of light,
That's where our love started
And baby, it's never-ending.
