(Gentle melodic flute and acoustic guitar melody)
Oh, the light is breaking through the clouds today
I can feel the spirit rising in the morning air
Lift your voices, lift your hands high
We are walking in the promise
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
It found me lost, it turned me 'round
I was walking in the shadows of the night
But then the mercy came and brought the light
The weight I carried has fallen to the floor
I am not the person that I was before
With every step I take upon this ground
I hear the echoes of a holy sound
It’s a rhythm deep within my very soul
It’s the power that is making me feel whole
Amazing grace, the beauty of the sound
Lifting me up from the barren ground
It’s a soaring melody, a song of praise
Guiding my spirit through the coming days
Oh, how great, oh, how deep is this love
Sent from the heavens, from the skies above
We are singing, we are dancing, we are free
In this grace that brings us harmony
I remember when the road was hard to climb
I was running out of hope and out of time
But then I heard a whisper in the wind
Reminding me of where I must begin
It wasn’t by my strength or by my might
But by the power shining in the light
Now the path is clear and open wide
With the creator standing by my side
Every trial was a lesson to be learned
Every bridge was a fire that has burned
I am moving forward with a brand new heart
Playing my own melody, playing my part
Amazing grace, the beauty of the sound
Lifting me up from the barren ground
It’s a soaring melody, a song of praise
Guiding my spirit through the coming days
Oh, how great, oh, how deep is this love
Sent from the heavens, from the skies above
We are singing, we are dancing, we are free
In this grace that brings us harmony
Can you feel the pulse begin to rise?
Can you see the glory in the skies?
Let it swell, let it grow, let it ring
Let the heart of every person start to sing
It is stronger than the fear, it’s a fire
Lifting every spirit ever higher
Higher, higher, let it take you home
You will never have to walk this road alone
Amazing grace, the beauty of the sound
Lifting me up from the barren ground
It’s a soaring melody, a song of praise
Guiding my spirit through the coming days
Oh, how great, oh, how deep is this love
Sent from the heavens, from the skies above
We are singing, we are dancing, we are free
In this grace that brings us harmony
Oh, the sound, the beautiful sound
It is all around, it is all around
Amazing grace, leading me home
Leading me home, yeah
(Music fades with rhythmic percussion and uplifting flute flourish)
