*Verse 1 (
Slow
and
soft):*
Last
week
you
were
here
with
us,
Royce
Learning
and
laughing,
we
still
hear
your
voice
On
Monday
your
seat
was
empty
and
cold
We
wondered
where
you
were,
we
wanted
to
hold
We
wondered
where
you
were,
we
wanted
to
hold
On
Tuesday
the
call
came,
our
hearts
broke
in
two
We
could
not
believe
we
had
lost
you
Mmm
mmm...
we
lost
you... *
Chorus (
Everyone,
with
feeling):*
Royce,
we
will
miss
you,
we
will
not
forget
You
were
our
pupil,
our
friend,
the
best
we
ever
met
The
Rose
of
Sharon
School
will
miss
you,
this
is
true
We
will
always
love
you,
in
all
that
we
do
Though
you
are
gone
from
our
sight,
you
are
still
in
our
hearts
Your
light
still
shines,
even
when
we
are
apart
Rest
in
peace,
our
little
angel,
rest
in
peace
Your
love
in
this
school
will
never
cease
Ooh
ooh...
rest
in
peace...
mmm... *
Verse 2:*
Your
books
are
still
here,
your
desk
is
still
there
But
the
classroom
feels
empty
without
your
care
You
were
kind,
you
were
bright,
you
were
full
of
life
Now
heaven
has
called
you,
free
from
all
strife
We
will
keep
your
memory
alive
every
day
In
all
that
we
learn,
in
all
that
we
say
Ah
ah...
we
miss
you... *
Verse 3 -
The
Exams:*
You
were
preparing
to
write
your
exams
From
the 27
th
to
the 30
th
of
October,
with
all
your
plans
Your
pencil
was
ready
for
shading,
your
heart
was
so
strong
You
studied
so
hard,
you
waited
so
long
Now
you
will
not
sit
in
that
exam
room
with
us
But
we
will
shade
every
answer
for
you,
Royce,
we
promise,
we
must
Every
question
we
answer,
we
will
answer
with
you
in
mind
Your
spirit
will
guide
us,
your
memory
will
shine
Mmm
mmm...
shine
for
us,
Royce... *
Chorus (
Stronger,
with
tears):*
Royce,
we
will
miss
you,
we
will
not
forget
You
were
our
pupil,
our
friend,
the
best
we
ever
met
The
Rose
of
Sharon
School
will
miss

still
in
our

Your
light
still
shines,
even
when
we
are
apart
Rest
in
peace,
our
little
angel,
rest
in
peace
Your
love
in
this
school
will
never
cease
To
your
father
and
family,
we
send
all
our
love
Royce
is
now
an
angel,
watching
from
above
The
Rose
of
Sharon
School
will
miss
you,
dear
Royce
We
will
always
remember
your
smile,
your
voice
Royce,
we
will
miss
you,
we
will
not
forget
You
were
our
pupil,
our
friend,
the
best
we
ever
met
The
Rose
of
Sharon
School
will
miss

this

Your

even
when
we
are
apart
Rest
well,
Royce...
mmm...
The
Rose
of
Sharon
will
miss
you...
ooh...
Mmm
mmm
mmm...
Goodbye,
little
one.
Sleep
in
the
light. (
Fade
out
with
solitary
piano
melody)
