[Choir
(Soft piano chords building into a rhythmic, soul-stirring drum pattern)
Yeah, we rise today
Not by our might, not by our skill
But by the favor of the Most High
Listen now
It’s not by my clever mind, it is His grace
It’s not by my hidden tricks, it is His grace
It’s not by my physical strength, it is His grace
Every beat of my heart is a gift from Him
I look back at the path I’ve walked
Through the valley and the mountain peaks
I know that I would have stumbled long ago
If He hadn’t held me in His steady hands
It’s His grace, oh, it’s His grace
We are living only by His grace
It’s His grace, oh, it’s His grace
We are living only by His grace
Every breath is a testimony
Every step is a mercy shown
It’s His grace, oh, it’s His grace
We are living only by His grace
When I was tired and my spirit was weak
He was the one who carried me home
When I was lost and searching for the truth
He was the light that showed me the way
I have nothing to boast about before His throne
My life is resting safely in His palm
He took the broken pieces of my past
And turned them into a song of victory
It’s His grace, oh, it’s His grace
We are living only by His grace
It’s His grace, oh, it’s His grace
We are living only by His grace
Every breath is a testimony
Every step is a mercy shown
It’s His grace, oh, it’s His grace
We are living only by His grace
So let the mountains bow down
Let the oceans lift their sound
We will praise Him for the mercy
That is new every single morning
He never fails, He never sleeps
His promise is the life I keep
(Soaring vocal build-up)
Oh, we lift Him high!
Though the storms may gather all around
His love is the anchor that holds me fast
I don’t worry about what tomorrow brings
Because the One who started it will finish it
I see the transformation in my soul
A new creation standing in the light
Everything I have, everything I am
Belongs to the One who gave it all for me
It’s His grace, oh, it’s His grace
We are living only by His grace
It’s His grace, oh, it’s His grace
We are living only by His grace
Every breath is a testimony
Every step is a mercy shown
It’s His grace, oh, it’s His grace
We are living only by His grace
By His grace alone
Yes, we live, we move, we have our being
By His grace
It’s all His grace
Thank you, Lord
(Fade out with resonant piano and rhythmic clapping)
