VERSE 1 — Very Slowly
There are people crying…
In the middle of the night…
There are hearts that are broken…
There are lives filled with pain…
There are mothers who are crying…
There are fathers losing hope…
There are children who are hurting…
And they don't know where to go…
But, Lord…
We know You see them…
Lord…
We know You hear them…
So we lift our voices…
And we call Your name…
Jesus…
Jesus…
Jesus…
---
CHORUS — Soft and Gentle
Come, Lord Jesus…
Come and rescue Your people…
Come, Lord Jesus…
Come and wipe away our tears…
Come and heal the broken…
Come and comfort the hurting…
Come and give hope to the hopeless…
Jesus…
We need You…
Jesus…
We need You…
---
VERSE 2 — Slow
Some have prayed for many years…
Some are still waiting…
Some have cried so many tears…
Some are tired of suffering…
But we will not stop believing…
We will not stop trusting You…
Because You are our Father…
And You will never leave us…
Lord, remember Your people…
Remember the suffering…
Remember the broken…
Remember the lonely…
Remember the forgotten…
Jesus…
Have mercy…
Jesus…
Have mercy…
---
