Lead me, Lord, lead me
Oh, guide my steps today, yes Lord
I walk through valleys deep and wide
With nowhere left to run or hide
But in my heart, I hear Your voice
And in Your truth, I find my choice
You held the lions in their place
Your mercy shining on Your face
I trust the path that You define
Your hand is resting here in mine
Lead me, guide me, stay by my side
With You as captain, I will abide
Just like You did for Daniel then
You’ll do the same for me again
Oh, lead me through the darkest night
Into the glow of Your pure light
Yes Lord, praise Him
I place my future in Your care
I lift my burden in my prayer
For every mountain I must climb
You are the rhythm and the rhyme
No hungry lion, no closing gate
Can stand against my holy fate
I’m moving forward, bold and free
Because You’re walking here with me
Lead me, guide me, stay by my side
With You as captain, I will abide
Just like You did for Daniel then
You’ll do the same for me again
Oh, lead me through the darkest night
Into the glow of Your pure light
Glory, hallelujah
You were there when the walls were tall
You were there to catch my fall
I’m standing firm upon Your word
The greatest promise I have heard
Thank You Jesus, praise Him
So let the world spin round and round
My feet are steady on the ground
You are the Shepherd, I’m the sheep
The promises You always keep
I trust the journey, trust the way
I’m walking closer every day
Amen, yes Lord
Lead me, guide me, stay by my side
With You as captain, I will abide
Just like You did for Daniel then
You’ll do the same for me again
Oh, lead me through the darkest night
Into the glow of Your pure light
Lead me, lead me home
You never leave me all alone
Just like Daniel, I am safe
Safe in Your grace
Thank You Jesus, amen
