You trained me from student tasks to the strong host I am.
My disciplinarian, adviser, my biggest MVP,
The calm in my storm, you've done so much for me.
Your discipline made me stronger,
Your advice made me wise.
Your care gave me stability,
Your support helped me rise.
Your humility taught me kindness,
And I'm proud to be your duplicate.
I'm still on Chatta because you stood by me,
One hundred and forty-nine days, and still counting.
If I had one day to speak, half would be to appreciate you,
And the rest to thank you, Odogwu, for all you've done.
If my heart could speak, it would call your names,
If my eyes could talk, you'd understand these tears.
You stood beside me through my growing seasons,
And gave me strength to stand right here.
