(Gentle pipe organ swell)
(Soft choir humming)
When life was heavy on my weary soul
And all my hope had started to fade away
Jesus heard the whisper of my call
He came to me and washed my fears away
He sat beside me in the quiet night
To soothe the shadows with His gentle light
For Jesus has made my life whole again
He brought the sun into my darkest day
In every trial, in every twist and turn
I’ll follow my Savior, come what may
Yes, Jesus has made my life whole again
My heart is steady in His grace today
My kin and friends had turned their backs on me
I stood alone within the biting wind
But Jesus never left me to the sea
He took me in and healed the hurt within
His love is deeper than the rolling tide
With Him as shelter, I have naught to hide
For Jesus has made my life whole again
He brought the sun into my darkest day
In every trial, in every twist and turn
I’ll follow my Savior, come what may
Yes, Jesus has made my life whole again
My heart is steady in His grace today
My broken heart was scattered on the floor
But Jesus gathered every piece in time
He turned my weeping into joy once more
A melody of grace that is sublime
And so I sing a song of endless praise
To honor Him throughout my remaining days
I see the light, the path is clear and wide
My life is blessed, I have no need to fear
Whatever comes, I know He’s by my side
With every step, I feel His presence near
Oh, what a joy to walk within His hand
Across the shifting shadows of this land
For Jesus has made my life whole again
He brought the sun into my darkest day
In every trial, in every twist and turn
I’ll follow my Savior, come what may
Yes, Jesus has made my life whole again
My heart is steady in His grace today
He has made my life whole
In His grace I shall remain
Forevermore, forevermore
(Organ fading out)
(Choir trailing into silence)
