(Oh, hallelujah)
Today we celebrate a gift from above
(Praise Him, yes Lord)
Early in the morning the sun begins to rise
I see the light of heaven reflecting in your eyes
Eleanor Mashawawe, you’re a blessing, a star that’s shining bright
Guided by His mercy, walking in the light
From the moment you arrived, the world became a song
With grace upon your shoulders, you’ve been standing tall and strong
Oh, Eleanor Mashawawe, we lift your name today
We thank the Lord for every step that you have paved the way
With a heart of gold and spirit free
You’re a testament of love for all the world to see
Yes Lord, we celebrate the life you live
For all the joy and kindness that you give
Another year of favor, another year of grace
I see the hand of God upon your lovely face
Eleanor, your laughter is a melody so sweet
Walking in the purpose, making life complete
Glory to the Father for the niece that I adore
Praying that your blessings grow more and more
Oh, Eleanor Mashawawe, we lift your name today
We thank the Lord for every step that you have paved the way
With a heart of gold and spirit free
You’re a testament of love for all the world to see
Yes Lord, we celebrate the life you live
For all the joy and kindness that you give
Rise up, Eleanor, your time is now
With a crown of favor upon your brow
Keep on shining, keep on glowing
With the river of His spirit overflowing
(Thank You Jesus, praise His name)
So let the choir sing and let the organ play
For it’s a special season, a bright and holy day
Eleanor, you’re chosen, you’re precious and you’re dear
May the peace of God surround you throughout all the year
Amen, let it be, the favor is your own
Seated in the beauty of the love that you have shown
Oh, Eleanor Mashawaee, we lift your name today
We thank the Lord for every step that you have paved the way
With a heart of gold and spirit free
You’re a testament of love for all the world to see
Yes Lord, we celebrate the life you live
For all the joy and kindness that you give
Eleanor, keep on rising high
Underneath the glory of the open sky
(Hallelujah, praise Him)
Happy birthday, Eleanor, grace upon your life
Amen.
