(Gentle acoustic guitar melody starts)
Oh, listen to the rhythm of the day
It is our time, it is our year
Can you hear the sound of the graduates?
Yes, we are here, we are finally here
Rehoboth Nipatali, hear us now!
Look at us standing here, we are the dreamers
We made it happen because we can see it clearly
From the small steps in middle class to where we stand
We have grown tall and strong in this promised land
Teacher Violet and Teacher Ruth, you are the light
You guided our paths and you made our future bright
We started with letters, we started with songs
In this beautiful place where every child belongs
Here comes the graduates, today is our year
Teacher Violet and Teacher Ruth, we hold you dear
You taught us to read, to sing, dance, count, and write
You filled our young hearts with pure joy and delight
We thank you for the knowledge, for the love you share
For showing us kindness and showing us you care
Teacher Violet, your patience is a golden crown
You never let our spirits ever weigh us down
Teacher Ruth, your encouragement is a guiding star
You taught us to reach for the things that are far
People have gathered to see the stars of the day
The mighty graduates who have found their own way
From the very first day in the middle class room
You watered our souls so that we could bloom
Here comes the graduates, today is our year
Teacher Violet and Teacher Ruth, we hold you dear
You taught us to read, to sing, dance, count, and write
You filled our young hearts with pure joy and delight
We thank you for the knowledge, for the love you share
For showing us kindness and showing us you care
Rehoboth is the best, where the journey begins
Where the spirit of learning and the laughter wins
We will always remember the lessons you taught
The wisdom and beauty that your presence brought
(Hahaha!)
We are the future, we are the ones who will shine
Because you took the time, because you were so fine
Imparting the wisdom, shaping who we will be
Thank you for setting our potential free
We look at the future, we look at the sky
With you as our mentors, we’re ready to fly
Here comes the graduates, today is our year
Teacher Violet and Teacher Ruth, we hold you dear
You taught us to read, to sing, dance, count, and write
You filled our young hearts with pure joy and delight
We thank you for the knowledge, for the love you share
For showing us kindness and showing us you care
We love you, teachers, for making us who we are
Each one of us glowing like a bright morning star
Rehoboth, thank you
Teacher Violet, Teacher Ruth, thank you
(Fade out with melodic guitar and soft percussion)
