(Nna!) The sun is shining brighter today!
It is a celebration, oya!
October twelfth is written in the stars above
A day designed for someone that we truly love
The morning breeze is singing songs of jubilee
For the pride of our hearts, for the world to see
You bring the sunshine everywhere you go
A light that flickers with a beautiful glow
We gather round to toast to the life you lead
You are the flower grown from a precious seed
Oh, Cherish Munachi, our birthday queen
The brightest star that we have ever seen
We celebrate your grace, we celebrate your soul
You make our lives complete and make us whole
Cherish Munachi, the joy of the day
May all your dreams come true in a special way
Chai! We celebrate you, our pride and joy
Nothing but blessings for our favorite girl
Look at the smile that lightens up the whole room
Chasing away the shadows and the darkest gloom
From Enugu to Lagos, the news has spread
Blessings falling softly on your lovely head
You are the wisdom that keeps us standing tall
Whenever you call, we’re waiting at your call
Omalicha, you are the bloom in the spring
Listen to the melody that the trumpets bring
Oh, Cherish Munachi, our birthday queen
The brightest star that we have ever seen
We celebrate your grace, we celebrate your soul
You make our lives complete and make us whole
Cherish Munachi, the joy of the day
May all your dreams come true in a special way
Chai! We celebrate you, our pride and joy
Nothing but blessings for our favorite girl
Omo, the years ahead are yours to command
With strength and purpose held within your hand
No wahala, just grace and the favor of God
Walking the path where the greatness has trod
Chop life, my dear, because you deserve the best
You are the one who is truly, truly blessed
So raise a glass of palm wine to the sky today
Let the guitars play and let the children play
We thank the heavens for the gift of your life
Cutting through the noise and the world of strife
Cherish Munachi, you are our diamond stone
A legacy of love that we call our own
Always remain the person that you are
Our lovely daughter, our shining northern star
Oh, Cherish Munachi, our birthday queen
The brightest star that we have ever seen
We celebrate your grace, we celebrate your soul
You make our lives complete and make us whole
Cherish Munachi, the joy of the day
May all your dreams come true in a special way
Chai! We celebrate you, our pride and joy
Nothing but blessings for our favorite girl
Happy birthday, Cherish Munachi!
(Oya!) Shine on, our birthday queen!
Keep rising, keep shining!
Nna, it’s a celebration!
