One day, Jesus went up to Jerusale-em,
Near the Sheep Gate, to a pool called Bethesdaa.
Here, a great number of disabled people, used to lie—the blind, the lame, the paralyzed and the deaf. And onee was there, invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him, he asked him a question, “Do you want to get well?”

Lord, I have no one to help me,,,to get in the pool, when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes before me,,,Lord I am tired, yes Lord I am tired.
Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” At once, the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. He left many others, waiting for the stirring of the water.
