Forever will I sing Your song of praise,
My soul shall exalt Your name for all time.
You are the shield that stands before my path,
The guide who leads, the guard who watches,
My sole redeeming power and grace.
(Refrain)
Oh, let the melody rise like the morning light,
From the depths of my soul, through the dark of the night.
You are my anchor, my hope, and my song,
To You, the praise of my heart shall belong.
Yes, You are the Alpha, the beginning and end,
My constant companion, my closest of friends.
(Verse 2)
When shadows gather and the storms arise,
I look to the mercy within Your eyes.
You pull me from the valley, You lift me from the dust,
In the shelter of Your presence, in You I place my trust.
No other name holds the weight of Your love,
Sent from the silence of heaven above.
(Bridge)
Though seasons may falter and years slip away,
Your faithfulness remains as the light of the day.
I bow at the altar of Your perfect grace,
Finding my rest in the warmth of Your face.
(Outro)
Forever I’ll sing, forever I’ll raise,
The eternal anthem of Your holy praise.
My shield, my guide, my guard, and my grace—
My only song, all my days
