Oh, what a day of glory
Little Matilda, heaven’s own story
Seventeen of October, the sun is shining bright
A brand new star has entered into our sight
Our beautiful Matilda, our heart and our soul
To watch you grow is such a beautiful goal
We thank the Lord for the gift of your breath
We pray His love surrounds you, walking in the light of His depth
Yes Lord, we celebrate you today
As you start your journey in a wonderful way
Happy Birthday, Matilda Adenuga
May the goodness of God never depart from you
Everywhere you go, His grace is going too
Oh, Matilda, our joy is found in you
Happy Birthday, sweet girl, may you shine so bright
Under the shelter of His holy light
Matilda, may the wisdom of God guide your tongue
So when you speak, the world will listen, for you are the chosen one
From the rising of the sun to the end of the day
May favor follow you in every single way
Praise Him for the gift of your precious life
May you always walk away from trouble and strife
Glory to the One who gave you to us
We praise Him now, oh yes, we must
Happy Birthday, Matilda Adenuga
May the goodness of God never depart from you
Everywhere you go, His grace is going too
Oh, Matilda, our joy is found in you
Happy Birthday, sweet girl, may you shine so bright
Under the shelter of His holy light
From mummy and daddy, with a love so deep
A promise to the Lord that we’re gonna keep
To raise you in the garden of His perfect grace
To see the light of heaven upon your lovely face
Thank You Jesus, for this blessing today
We lift our hands and we bow down to pray
Oh Matilda, the world is waiting for your light
Walk in the spirit, keep your vision clear and bright
17th of October, a day to remember well
A story of your life that we’re so happy to tell
Grow in stature, grow in wisdom and in truth
May the favor of the King preserve your beautiful youth
Amen, let the choir sing out your name
Matilda, your spirit is never the same
Happy Birthday, Matilda Adenuga
May the goodness of God never depart from you
Everywhere you go, His grace is going too
Oh, Matilda, our joy is found in you
Happy Birthday, sweet girl, may you shine so bright
Under the shelter of His holy light
Happy Birthday, our sweet Matilda
God’s goodness will follow you all of your days
We love you so much, darling
Praise Him, hallelujah, amen
