Chale, gather round, let’s talk about a star
Theresa, you carry the flame, you take it far
Eii, listen now
Early morning sun rising over the street
Theresa steps out with the world at her feet
The classroom is waiting, the children arrive
You’re guiding their dreams, helping them to thrive
Teaching the young ones to walk in the light
Even when the struggle is blocking your sight
It is not easy, this path that you choose
But with your spirit, Theresa, you never will lose
Oh Theresa, you’re the teacher we praise today
Guiding the future in your own special way
Chale, give her honor, let the music play loud
For our sister Theresa, we are standing so proud
Yoo, you push through the fire, you push through the rain
Taking the wisdom and healing the pain
I’ve seen the hard days, I’ve seen how you fight
Keeping your head up and holding on tight
You teach them the values, the choices that stay
Turning the shadows to a bright sunny day
Some people stumble, but you keep your pace
Moving with grace and a smile on your face
Wonim? You’re a legend in all that you do
Everything beautiful is blooming in you
Oh Theresa, you’re the teacher we praise today
Guiding the future in your own special way
Chale, give her honor, let the music play loud
For our sister Theresa, we are standing so proud
Yoo, you push through the fire, you push through the rain
Taking the wisdom and healing the pain
May Jehovah bless every step that you take
For the difference you make and the future you wake
Chop life, sister, you’ve earned every crown
Your light is the treasure in this whole town
Oyiwa, let the blessings fall down like the dew
Everything good is coming back unto you
So hold up your head, let the world hear your name
Theresa, you’re playing a beautiful game
Teachers like you are the salt of the earth
Showing the kids what their future is worth
I celebrate you on this Teachers’ Day
Keep on shining, don’t look away
Oh Theresa, you’re the teacher we praise today
Guiding the future in your own special way
Chale, give her honor, let the music play loud
For our sister Theresa, we are standing so proud
Yoo, you push through the fire, you push through the rain
Taking the wisdom and healing the pain
Happy Teachers’ Day, my dear sister Theresa
Ah ah, you are the best
Keep pushing, keep rising
We celebrate you today, chale
Oyiwa!
