Writing
The real test of strength is to stand your ground,
When the world says you're lost and there's no hope around.
Hold on to the truth that the Lord has declared,
Not the picture before you, nor the burdens you bear.
For His words are a promise, His truth never dies,
Though the mountains may tremble and the storm fill the skies.
Don't measure His power by the troubles you see,
For the God who has called you holds your victory.
When the road gets rough and the nights grow long,
Keep your eyes on His promise, keep your spirit strong.
Let the tears fall freely, let your heart be still,
For His word is forever, and it always will.
Stand on His word, don't be moved by the sight,
When the darkness surrounds you, keep holding the light.
Cast your cares on the Father, let Him carry you through,
There's no power in worrying, there's no strength in fear too.
We're soldiers of faith, and we're called to endure,
With our eyes on His promise, our victory is sure.
Though the battle is raging, we will not turn away,
For the God who spoke yesterday is still God today!
You can worry till morning, you can cry through the night,
But worry can't change what is wrong into right.
It can't move a mountain or command the deep sea,
But a heart that trusts God finds the strength to be free.
So surrender your burdens, lay your troubles below,
Let His peace be the river wherever you go.
Keep your mind on His truth when the answers seem few,
For His timing is perfect, and His word will hold true.
When the voices of doubt try to weaken your soul,
Remember the One who is still in control.
Though your eyes see defeat, let your faith see beyond,
For the One who has called you will keep you strong.
I will trust when I cannot see,
For His word is enough for me.
I will stand when the ground gives way,
He is God, and He will not change.
No fear can silence the truth I know,
No storm can stop what He wills to grow.
I lay down my cares, I surrender my plans,
My life and my future are safe in His hands.
I'll stand on His word, I will not be moved,
For the God of my life has already proved
That His love is unfailing, His promises stay,
And His truth will sustain me along the way.
We're soldiers of faith, and we won't retreat,
With the Word as our armour, we cannot be beat.
Let the whole world tremble, let the storm clouds roll,
I will stand on His promise with my heart and soul!
I'll stand on His word… when I cannot see,
I'll cast all my cares on the One who loves me.
No fear, no worry can take me away,
I'll stand on His word… today and always.
Today and always…
I'll stand on His word.
