(Talking drum rhythm)
Listen, oh
The river is drying, but the Spirit is pouring
It’s a new season, can you feel the rain?
The world is shaking, news coming on the screen
The great Euphrates, drying up by the seen
Revelation written, preparing for the war
But look at your heart, there is something more
They say the water is gone, and fear is in the air
But I see the promise, God is answering prayer
While the river dries, the Spirit pours down
He’s crowning the faithful, lifting up the crown
Joel twenty-eight, upon all flesh today
The power of the Spirit is leading the way
Oh, we are the vessels, ready for the fire
Filling up our souls, lifting us up higher
Two rivers moving, opposite direction
One brings the terror, one brings resurrection
Are you watching the news, getting dry inside?
Or drinking from the Source, letting love collide?
The drying is a sign, that time is moving fast
But the pouring is the signal, a glory meant to last
While the river dries, the Spirit pours down
He’s crowning the faithful, lifting up the crown
Joel twenty-eight, upon all flesh today
The power of the Spirit is leading the way
Oh, we are the vessels, ready for the fire
Filling up our souls, lifting us up higher
He doesn’t pour out on an empty stage
He’s writing our story, turning the page
Be available, be the vessel, let it flow
Everywhere you go, let the people know
(Hallelujah! Praise God!)
While the river dries, the Spirit pours down
He’s crowning the faithful, lifting up the crown
Joel twenty-eight, upon all flesh today
The power of the Spirit is leading the way
Oh, we are the vessels, ready for the fire
Filling up our souls, lifting us up higher
Spirit pouring, river flowing, on God
We rise, we stand, we never run out
Thank you Jesus, the fountain is open
Let it overflow, let it overflow
(Glory! Amen!)
