(Chale, listen to the story)
Rusanael, we miss you so much
I still remember the days we shared
Your love was a blanket, a heart that cared
Grandma Rusanael, your spirit is bright
Guiding my steps through the day and the night
Amba is here, your grandson so true
Keeping the memory of you in view
Though time has passed, the pain is still deep
Promising you, your secrets I'll keep
Oh, Rusanael, you are the star in the sky
We hold your name up, we never say goodbye
From the roots of the tree to the fruit that we bear
We feel your presence, we know you are there
Oh, Rusanael, the love never ends
Even in silence, our heartstrings it mends
I wish you could see the life I have grown
My lovely wife Veronica, a light of my own
I wish you could see the kids as they play
Juliet and Cvilizer, growing each day
They carry your kindness, they carry your grace
In every smile, I see your face
Oh, wonim? We talk of your name
In a world of change, your love stays the same
Oh, Rusanael, you are the star in the sky
We hold your name up, we never say goodbye
From the roots of the tree to the fruit that we bear
We feel your presence, we know you are there
Oh, Rusanael, the love never ends
Even in silence, our heartstrings it mends
Eii, the path of life is a winding road
We carry the memories to lighten the load
Nya ager min Dicksion, the lessons you gave
Are written in gold on the path that you pave
Oyiwa, we walk with our heads held high
Under the warmth of a Ghanaian sky
Chop life with joy, like you used to say
Even though you went on your heavenly way
Your legacy lives in the things that we do
Rusanael, we are forever for you
Oh, Rusanael, you are the star in the sky
We hold your name up, we never say goodbye
From the roots of the tree to the fruit that we bear
We feel your presence, we know you are there
Oh, Rusanael, the love never ends
Even in silence, our heartstrings it mends
Rusanael, rest in peace
Your love in our hearts, it will never cease
Amba, Veronica, Juliet, and Cvilizer too
We all will forever remember you
Yoo, sleep well, Grandma.
(Chale, we miss you)
