Oh, what a day the Lord has made
Cynthia Georgiana George, we celebrate you today!
August third, the calendar turns to gold
A beautiful story of grace to be told
From the love of mother Balu, a blessing so bright
Shining like a star in the middle of the night
Cynthia Georgiana, you’re a light in the way
We lift up your name on this wonderful day
Yes Lord, we praise Him for the life that you live
For all of the love that you continue to give
Oh, happy birthday, Cynthia Georgiana George
Walking in the favor that the heavens forge
With father Krio Papay guiding your hand
You’re the finest daughter in all of the land
Let the choir sing, let the tambourine ring
To the King of Kings, the joy that you bring
Hallelujah, we celebrate your name today
Cynthia Georgiana, lead the way
Rolanda Juliana, your sister stands near
Celebrating a bond that is fueled by the cheer
And little Sylvanus, the Krio boy too
Smiling so wide as he looks up to you
It’s a family blessing, a circle of grace
Reflected in the glow upon your beautiful face
Thank You Jesus for the path that she’s on
From the early dusk until the break of the dawn
Oh, happy birthday, Cynthia Georgiana George
Walking in the favor that the heavens forge
With father Krio Papay guiding your hand
You’re the finest daughter in all of the land
Let the choir sing, let the tambourine ring
To the King of Kings, the joy that you bring
Hallelujah, we celebrate your name today
Cynthia Georgiana, lead the way
Greater heights, wider gates, open doors for you
Everything you dream, may it all come true
By the grace of God, you are rising so high
Underneath the glory of the open sky
(Praise Him) You are chosen, you are blessed
(Yes Lord) Put all your worries and your fears to rest
Cynthia Georgiana, your season is here
Walking in the fullness of a brand new year
So let the table be set and the melody rise
There’s a holy fire reflecting in your eyes
From Balu to the Papay, the lineage stands strong
Right here in the rhythm of this birthday song
Keep holding the faith, keep walking the line
For the hand of the Maker has made you to shine
Glory to the Highest for the gift of your birth
You are a treasure upon this whole earth
Oh, happy birthday, Cynthia Georgiana George
Walking in the favor that the heavens forge
With father Krio Papay guiding your hand
You’re the finest daughter in all of the land
Let the choir sing, let the tambourine ring
To the King of Kings, the joy that you bring
Hallelujah, we celebrate your name today
Cynthia Georgiana, lead the way
Yes Lord, celebrate the Queen
Cynthia Georgiana, living the dream
Happy birthday, we praise Him for you
Amen, and amen, it’s all true
(Glory!) We love you, Cynthia.
Amen.
