CHRISTMAS NIGHT, NEW YEAR'S LIGHT
Artist: REX OMONIGHO
Genre: 1980s Christmas R&B / Gospel Pop
Target Duration: Approximately 3 Minutes
(Warm keyboard plays a gentle Christmas melody with sparkling bells.)
MALE BASS — smooth and deep:
Huuuuuuummmmmmmm…
Christmas night, the stars shine bright,
Love is here, the world feels right.
Gather around, come sing with me,
It's Christmas joy for all to see!
I'm celebrating Christmas with my family,
I'm celebrating Christmas with my friends.
Call everybody, spread the happiness,
Let the love and laughter never end!
Open your hearts, come join the song,
There's room for everyone to belong.
From every home to every town,
Let Christmas love go all around!
MALE BASS:
Merry Christmas, everyone!
FEMALE SOPRANO:
Let the love and joy shine on!
BOTH:
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year,
May we share love everywhere!
Merry Christmas, sing along,
Let our hearts rejoice in song.
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year,
May God's peace be with us here!
The year is ending, a new one begins,
Let's thank our God for the love within.
For every blessing, for every day,
We lift our hearts and praise His name!
Share with the lonely, care for the poor,
Spread a little kindness from door to door.
Let peace and friendship light the way,
And fill our hearts throughout each day!
Joy to the world!
Let every heart rejoice!
The Lord has come,
So let us raise our voice!
The newborn King,
Our hope and light,
Brings love to the world
This Christmas night!
MALE BASS & SOPRANO:
Merry Christmas, everyone!
Let the celebration carry on!
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year,
May God's love be everywhere!
Christmas night, New Year's light,
May your future shine so bright!
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year,
Sending love to all this year!
MALE BASS: Merry Christmas!
FEMALE SOPRANO: Happy New Year!
BOTH: May God's love and peace be with you all!
Huuuuuuummmmmmmm…
