Yeah, yebo, asambe
Let’s celebrate a king today
Gentle Paulo, you know the vibe
Sho, let's go
Mr. Paul Onwuemene, the legend in the building
From the Foreign Ministry, yeah, you left a feeling
Diplomat of the century, home and abroad you served
With honor and with dignity, the respect is well deserved
Retired but not tired, yeah the energy is still high
Administrator of the vision, watch the greatness multiply
Eish, a man of the people, the humblest one I know
We giving you your flowers, watch the blessings overflow
Gentle Paulo, the legend, yeah we celebrate your name
A beacon of the light, you never did it for the fame
Most humble in the city, Mr. Paul you’ve done it well
With accolades and glory, the stories that we tell
Sharp sharp, you’re the hero, the peace maker in the land
Gentle Paulo, the leader, with the world inside your hand
Catholic faith is deep, the chorister so bold
A life of service written, in stories to be told
Unionist and philanthropist, you paved a golden way
For humanity you stood, yeah, you brightened every day
Caring father, loving husband, the foundation is so strong
With Celestina by your side, yeah, you’ve been here all along
Cynthia, Raphael, Racheal, Naomi, the legacy is bright
We celebrate the family, shining in the golden light
Gentle Paulo, the legend, yeah we celebrate your name
A beacon of the light, you never did it for the fame
Most humble in the city, Mr. Paul you’ve done it well
With accolades and glory, the stories that we tell
Sharp sharp, you’re the hero, the peace maker in the land
Gentle Paulo, the leader, with the world inside your hand
Aweh, listen to the log drum beat
For the man who made the sacrifice so sweet
From the ministry halls to the life you build today
Gentle Paulo, we thank you, in every single way
Gentle Paulo, the legend, yeah we celebrate your name
A beacon of the light, you never did it for the fame
Most humble in the city, Mr. Paul you’ve done it well
