Oh, the rhythm of heaven is calling
My heart beats only for You
Perpetual Okereke stands before Your throne
In the garden of grace, I am never alone
I feel Your heartbeat in the rhythm of the day
Lord, You wash all my burdens and my fears away
Your love is a steady, rhythmic drum inside my chest
In Your presence, I find my eternal rest
Oh, thank You Jesus, for the life You give
It’s in Your power that I choose to live
Oh Jesus, You are powerful, You are lovely and kind
You’re the melody of grace in this heart of mine
Perpetual Okereke sings of Your amazing light
You turn my darkness into morning bright
Yes Lord, You are the King of every soul
With Your drumbeat, You make me fully whole
I hear the drums of heaven, they sound like Your grace
Every beat draws me closer to Your holy face
Perpetual Okereke is walking by Your side
With nowhere to run and nowhere to hide
Your strength is a mountain, Your love is the sea
You’ve broken every chain that once held me
Glory to the One who died to set us free
Your love is the heartbeat of my destiny
Oh Jesus, You are powerful, You are lovely and kind
You’re the melody of grace in this heart of mine
Perpetual Okereke sings of Your amazing light
You turn my darkness into morning bright
Yes Lord, You are the King of every soul
With Your drumbeat, You make me fully whole
I praise Him, I praise Him for the rhythm of life
Through the valley of shadows and the middle of strife
Hallelujah, Your love is the sound
Perpetual Okereke stands on holy ground
Let the drums beat louder, let the choir sing
Of the power and the glory of my heavenly King
With every pulse, I declare that You are good
I’d shout it from the mountain if I only could
Perpetual Okereke knows the joy of Your touch
Thank You Jesus, I love You so very much
The drum of my heart plays a song for Your name
And I know that my spirit will never be the same
Oh Jesus, You are powerful, You are lovely and kind
You’re the melody of grace in this heart of mine
Perpetual Okereke sings of Your amazing light
You turn my darkness into morning bright
Yes Lord, You are the King of every soul
With Your drumbeat, You make me fully whole
Amen, the rhythm is Yours forever
Perpetual Okereke loves You, Jesus
Praise Him, praise Him
You are my everything, amen.
