JESU! JESUS! JESU!
Artist: REX OMONIGHO
Genre: Nigerian Afrobeat Gospel Worship & Praise
Target Duration: Approximately 3 minutes
(Soft piano, gentle strings, deep humming, and a gentle Yoruba talking drum.)
Lead Singer (deep, emotional voice):
Mmmmmmm… Huuuuuuummmmmm…
Jesu… my Jesus…
When nobody heard my cry…
You heard me.
When the world walked away…
You stayed with me.
Jesu… Jesu…
My heart belongs to You.
Oh, Jesus, my Saviour…
There is no one like You.
When I was down, You lifted me.
When I was weak, You strengthened me.
When the world turned its back on me,
Jesus, You were there for me.
When I cried, You heard my cry.
When I fell, You helped me rise.
Even when I could not see the way,
Your mighty hand carried me each day.
Oh, Jesus, I cannot deny You!
Every breath I take belongs to You!
You are the reason I am alive.
Jesus, forever, You are my life!
Lead: Jesu! Jesus! Jesu! Jesus!
Choir: Jesus! Jesus! We worship You!

Choir: You are worthy of our praise!
All:
You are the hope of the brokenhearted!
You are the light when the world grows dark!
From the morning until the night,
Jesus, I will praise You with all my might!
Jesu! Jesus! Jesu! Jesus!
YOU ARE THE KING OF MY LIFE!
Jesus, what would I do without You?
Where would I go without Your love?
You gave me hope when I had nothing.
You gave me peace when my heart was breaking.
Nobody loves me like You do.
Nobody cares for me like You.
When my tears fall like the rain,
Your love gives me strength again.
To the lonely, let Your love be near.
To the broken, take away their fear.
Let every nation hear me say:
Jesus, You are the truth, the life, the way!
(The bass guitar deepens. The talking drum answers the lead singer. The adult choir grows stronger.)
