(Yes Lord)
I am seeking, I am seeking Your face today
(Hallelujah)
I am searching for the Lord in the morning light
My sister went to God when she lost her sight
She prayed for grace and she prayed for peace
She asked the Lord for her soul's release
I am searching for the Lord in the morning light
My brother went to God in the dead of night
He prayed for work and he prayed for bread
He placed his trust where the path is led
Oh, let us lift Him up, the God of mercy
For He is faithful, He will never fail us
He is the living God, the One who hears our cry
He is the source of life that will never run dry
Yes Lord, we praise You for Your grace today
(Praise Him)
I’m looking for a way, Lord, I need Your hand
I’m walking through the fire and the shifting sand
Just like the blind man who begged for his sight
I’m crying out for truth and I’m seeking the light
I’m looking for a way, Lord, I need Your touch
I’m reaching for the One that I love so much
Just like the lame man who asked to be made whole
I bring my broken life and my weary soul
Oh, let us lift Him up, the God of mercy
For He is faithful, He will never fail us
He is the living God, the One who hears our cry
He is the source of life that will never run dry
Yes Lord, we praise You for Your grace today
He never fails, no, He never forgets
He wipes away the tears and He pays the debts
He’s the God of the breakthrough, God of the way
He’s the King of kings, hear what I say
(Glory, glory, glory!)
So I’ll keep on pressing, I’ll keep on the climb
I’m trusting in His promise, trusting in His time
I don’t need the silver, I don’t need the gold
I just need the story that the prophets told
He’s my provider, my rock and my stay
He’s the light that guides me every single day
Oh, let us lift Him up, the God of mercy
For He is faithful, He will never fail us
He is the living God, the One who hears our cry
He is the source of life that will never run dry
Yes Lord, we praise You for Your grace today
He will never fail, He will never forget
Thank You Jesus, for all that You’ve done
(Amen, glory to the Lamb!)
I am seeking, always seeking You
Yes Lord, amen.
