Yeah, check it now
Bring the beat home
We celebrate the queen today
Evelyn, you know the vibe
Yeah, let’s go!
Walking in the room and the energy is rising up
All my people dancing, yeah we filling up the cup
See the lights are flashing and the bass is hitting hard
I’m looking at the lady who is playing all the cards
I say Evelyn, my beautiful, my shining star tonight
Everything about you keeps the spirit feeling light
No more looking back because I’m standing by your side
With the Matende name, yeah we going for a ride
Oh, Mrs. Matende, yeah you’re looking so divine
Dancing in the moonlight, tell me that you’re truly mine
Oh, Mrs. Matende, everybody make some noise
We are celebrating love, yeah we finding all our joys
Mrs. Matende, come and move it to the beat
With the rhythm in the soul and the fire in the feet
She stepping with the grace and the style is so refined
I’m the luckiest of men, yeah I know I’m doing fine
Tell the DJ turn it up, let the drums begin to roll
Zambeat in the heart, yeah it’s reaching for the soul
No shadow on the floor, we are basking in the glow
Every single movement makes the energy overflow
Evelyn you sparkle like a diamond in the rough
One lifetime of your love is never, ever quite enough
Oh, Mrs. Matende, yeah you’re looking so divine
Dancing in the moonlight, tell me that you’re truly mine
Oh, Mrs. Matende, everybody make some noise
We are celebrating love, yeah we finding all our joys
Mrs. Matende, come and move it to the beat
With the rhythm in the soul and the fire in the feet
Put your hands up high for the lady of the hour
See her move her feet with the rhythm and the power
Yeah, we moving steady, yeah we moving to the groove
Evelyn Matende, watch the way you make the move
Yeah, we celebrate!
Yeah, we elevate!
Oh, Mrs. Matende, yeah you’re looking so divine
Dancing in the moonlight, tell me that you’re truly mine
Oh, Mrs. Matende, everybody make some noise
We are celebrating love, yeah we finding all our joys
Mrs. Matende, come and move it to the beat
With the rhythm in the soul and the fire in the feet
Yeah, Mrs. Matende
Celebrating all night long
Keep the rhythm, keep the pace
It’s a party, it’s a celebration
Evelyn, you’re the best
Yeah, we out here
Zambeat forever!
