(Oya, ginger!)
(Make we celebrate today!)
It is a big day, e choke!
Our little princess is shining bright!
Nine years today, my golden child
Duchess Ekama, your smile is wild
From the South South soil to the world you go
You represent the best, that is all we know
Daddy and Mummy Chikito we dey shout
You make us proud, no single doubt
From the morning sun to the evening breeze
You bring the blessing, you bring the peace
Happy birthday, Duchess Ekama!
Nine years old, you be the star
Happy birthday, Duchess Ekama!
Our shining light, you go very far
(E choke!)
Duchess, you be the one, you be the queen
Best birthday that we ever seen
Kamsi Duke and Mayor Lee
Your brothers here, they happy for thee
They bring the drums, they bring the beat
We dancing 'til we rest our feet
No wahala, just pure delight
We partying all through the night
My beautiful daughter, you growing tall
You answer whenever the future call
