(Hallelujah)
Oh, there is life in the words we speak.
I remember the day I felt so low
With nowhere left for my heart to go
But then I heard the promise deep inside
That God’s own truth would be my guide
I picked up the Book and I read the lines
Finding peace that resets my mind
Every promise is a seed I sow
Watching the harvest begin to grow.
Oh, the power of the spoken word
It’s the sweetest sound that I ever heard
When I speak His truth, the mountains move
I’m dancing in the rhythm of His groove
Yes Lord, it’s a living flame
Victory found in the Holy Name
Praise Him for the hope He brings
Listen to the song that my spirit sings.
Life and death are in the tongue we hold
Better than silver, better than gold
When I say I’m healed, I feel the strength
I’ll go with Him to any length
No more doubting what I cannot see
His spoken word sets the captive free
Glory to the One who paved the way
Giving me light for a brand new day.
Oh, the power of the spoken word
It’s the sweetest sound that I ever heard
When I speak His truth, the mountains move
I’m dancing in the rhythm of His groove
Yes Lord, it’s a living flame
Victory found in the Holy Name
Praise Him for the hope He brings
Listen to the song that my spirit sings.
Speak to the dark and let there be light
Speak to the morning, end of the night
It’s written in heaven, it’s spoken on earth
Declaring the promise, declaring my worth
Thank You Jesus, for the power in me
Living in truth, and I’m finally free!
So keep on speaking, don't you ever tire
Let your testimony set the world on fire
Faith is rising, the victory’s won
Walking in the glory of the Father’s Son
Amen, let the people say Amen
We’re walking in the promise until the end.
Oh, the power of the spoken word
It’s the sweetest sound that I ever heard
When I speak His truth, the mountains move
I’m dancing in the rhythm of His groove
Yes Lord, it’s a living flame
Victory found in the Holy Name
Praise Him for the hope He brings
Listen to the song that my spirit sings.
It’s the power of the word
Yes, it’s the power of the word
Glory, glory, hallelujah
It’s changing my life, yes it is.
Amen.
