Nna! Oya! Gather round everybody, we have a man of God to celebrate today
Chai! It is a special day, yes it is
Early morning sun is shining down on the street
I can hear the rhythm of the drums and the beat
We are walking down the road to a special place
To see the smile upon our dear brother’s face
He is a leader, he is a teacher, a man of the light
He keeps the spirit burning, he keeps the future bright
Oh, Pastor Joseph Azubuike, the day is finally here
We gather all your friends to celebrate and cheer
Happy birthday to you, Pastor Joseph Azubuike
May your years be long, may your blessings be deep
We celebrate your life, the wisdom that you share
There is no other man who can ever compare
Oh, Pastor Joseph, the city sings your name
With you in our hearts, we are never the same
Chop life, celebrate, let the music play
It is your birthday, it is a glorious day
From the town of Issele Mkpitime to the world,
You always lift us up when the heavy weight is down
With the word of the Lord, you guide us on the way
Giving us the strength to face another day my God, the goodness is flowing like a river wide
With your family and friends standing by your side
We toast to your health, we toast to your grace
In this beautiful life, you have a special place
Happy birthday to you, Pastor Joseph Azubuike
May your years be long, may your blessings be deep
We celebrate your life, the wisdom that you share
There is no other man who can ever compare
Oh, Pastor Joseph, the city sings your name
With you in our hearts, we are never the same
Chop life, celebrate, let the music play
It is your birthday, it is a glorious day
Ah ah! Raise your glass high, give a shout for the man
He is the finest teacher in all of the land
Great man of God, keep shining your light
We are dancing all day, we are dancing all night
So keep on moving, keep on living, keep on the climb
You are getting better like the finest palm trees
We thank you for the love you give to everyone
The work you are doing has only just begun
Let the guitars cry, let the horns begin to blow
Let the joy in our hearts start to overflow
Pastor Joseph Azubuike, man of honor and truth
You are the inspiration for the elders and youth
Happy birthday to you, Pastor Joseph Azubuike
May your years be long, may your blessings be deep
We celebrate your life, the wisdom that you share
There is no other man who can ever compare
Oh, Pastor Joseph, the city sings your name
With you in our hearts, we are never the same
