"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want... Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me." — Psalm 23:1–4
Verse 1
From the dusty paths of Mabbwatuba, my humble village home,
To Hamoonde where I herded cattle beneath the blazing sun.
Snakes would strike and spit along the narrow bushy way,
Thorns would pierce my weary feet, yet You kept me every day.
When the heat was fierce and strength was gone,
Your loving hand carried me on.
Lord, You watched over this little child;
Your mercy never failed.
Chorus
Thank You, Jesus, You have never left me.
Through every valley, You faithfully carried me.
When I had nothing, You became my everything.
Today I stand because of Your amazing grace.
Thank You, Jesus, forever I'll sing Your praise.
All the glory belongs to You alone.
Verse 2
You opened doors through every season of my education,
When hope seemed distant, You gave me determination.
I never imagined I would become the person I am today;
But Your favour spoke where my own strength could never stay.
You lifted me from ordinary days,
And crowned my life with endless grace.
Lord, my testimony will forever declare:
You have been so good to me.
(Repeat Chorus)
Verse 3
Thank You, my father, Ian Simbeleko, for your love and sacrifice.
Thank You to the Dubeka family for standing by my side.
Above them all, my Heavenly Father, every blessing comes from You;
Every step, every victory, every dream You brought me through.
My life belongs to Christ alone,
His faithfulness is all I've known.
Until my final breath I'll proclaim:
Jesus deserves all the praise!
Final Chorus
Thank You, Jesus, You have never left me.
From Mabbwatuba to every place Your hand has led me.
My story is Your miracle, my life is Your song.
Forever I will worship You, my Saviour and my King.
Hallelujah! Glory to Your holy name!
