Oh, lift your voice and praise Him
He bore it all for us, yes Lord
My Lord took away all our sorrow
He carried the weight of the day
He was wounded for our transgressions
He washed all our guilt away
We were lost like sheep in the valley
Walking our own selfish path
But He stood in the gap for the weary
To save us from the coming wrath
For by His stripes we are healed today
Glory to the One who made the way
He took the punishment, He took the pain
So we could live in His light again
Oh, praise Him, by His stripes we are healed
Yes Lord, His love is finally revealed
All our iniquities laid on His shoulder
He suffered so we could be free
As the world grew cold and the nights grew older
He climbed up that wooden tree
Though we wandered far from the shepherd
He called us back to the fold
With grace that is greater than silver
And love that is worth more than gold
For by His stripes we are healed today
Glory to the One who made the way
He took the punishment, He took the pain
So we could live in His light again
Oh, praise Him, by His stripes we are healed
Yes Lord, His love is finally revealed
He took the chastisement for our peace
He bought our joy with His holy sacrifice
Let every heart find its sweet release
He paid the ultimate, the highest price
Thank You Jesus, Hallelujah!
Now we walk in the power of His rising
No longer bound by the chains of the past
His mercy is new every morning
A love that is destined to last
We are restored by the blood of the Savior
Walking in grace that will never end
Forever grateful for His holy favor
He is our Master, our Savior, our Friend
For by His stripes we are healed today
Glory to the One who made the way
He took the punishment, He took the pain
So we could live in His light again
Oh, praise Him, by His stripes we are healed
Yes Lord, His love is finally revealed
By His stripes, we are healed
Amen, it is finished, glory!
We are healed in His name
Yes Lord, forevermore, Amen.
