(Halleluyah! Praise the Lord!)
Today is a day of dancing
We celebrate our princess Matilda
(Glory! Amen!)
Seventeenth of October, a star is born
The mercy of God is shining on you like the dawn
Matilda Adenuga, you are a child of grace
In every single corner, you shall find your place
Father and mother love you with a love so deep
Promises of the Most High are yours to keep
Happy birthday, Matilda, we lift our hands today
May the favor of the Lord be with you in every way
Happy birthday, Matilda, wisdom will never depart
God has placed His holy fire inside of your heart
(You too much Papa! Glory!)
Wherever you speak, let the nations stop and hear
Let the voice of wisdom cast away every fear
Because you are the Lord’s own, you carry the light
You will walk in victory, you will win every fight
People will follow you because the favor is strong
You’ve been blessed by the King, you belong, you belong
Happy birthday, Matilda, we lift our hands today
May the favor of the Lord be with you in every way
Happy birthday, Matilda, wisdom will never depart
God has placed His holy fire inside of your heart
(Imela! Ekwueme!)
From the rising of the sun to the end of the day
God’s mercy will follow you in a miraculous way
No weapon formed against you shall ever succeed
You are a seed of righteousness, a blessing indeed
(Holy Ghost fire!)
Seventeen October, remember the day you came
The world is better because you carry His name
Matilda Adenuga, keep rising to the top
The oil upon your life, it will never ever stop
(Eseun Baba! Hosanna!)
Happy birthday, Matilda, we lift our hands today
May the favor of the Lord be with you in every way
Happy birthday, Matilda, wisdom will never depart
God has placed His holy fire inside of your heart
Happy birthday, Matilda
Walk in the favor, walk in the grace
We celebrate you today, God bless you
(Chineke! Glory! Amen!)
We love you Matilda!
