Yeah, mmm
He’s never late, baby
Oh, just wait on Him
Martha’s crying out, she’s calling for her brother
Saying, Lord, if You were here, he wouldn't be gone
She’s looking for a miracle, she’s looking for an answer
But the silence feels so heavy before the break of dawn
But Jesus said, this sickness isn't unto death, no
He’s working in the shadows, He’s moving in the light
He’s never late, oh, He’s never late
In the middle of the pain, He’s never late
He’s never late, yeah, He’s never late
When the struggle hits, and you’re feeling all the pressure
When the tears keep falling, and the road is getting long
Don't you lose your faith, don't you lose your focus
'Cause He’s right there beside you, writing out your song
But Jesus said, this sickness isn't unto death, no
He’s working in the shadows, He’s moving in the light
He’s never late, oh, He’s never late
In the middle of the pain, He’s never late
He’s never late, yeah, He’s never late
In the poverty, in the classroom, in the trial
He’s moving mountains, watch Him go the extra mile
Oh, I need You, Jesus, let Your power show
You’re the only one who really knows the way to go
So keep on believing, even when you cannot see it
He’s got the timing perfect, He’s got it in control
Every single hurt, every single sorrow
He’s healing every piece, He’s mending up your soul
But Jesus said, this sickness isn't unto death, no
He’s working in the shadows, He’s moving in the light
He’s never late, oh, He’s never late
In the middle of the pain, He’s never late
He’s never late, yeah, He’s never late
Yeah, He’s on time.
