(Ayy, yoh)
Yeah, we rise up together
This one is for the ones who guide us
Natasha Kasenga speaking
Let’s go
Walking through the gates of Bethel Baptist Academy
Seven years of growth, yeah it’s plain for all to see
From the early morning light until the bell will ring
We learning all the lessons and the wisdom that they bring
Miss Roda, you’re the best, you keep our spirits high
With every single word, you help us reach up to the sky
Oh, we say thank you for the morals that you teach us
For the love and the guidance that is always there to reach us
May God bless the teachers, may the favor never end
Bethel Baptist Grade Seven, you’re more than just a friend
Yeah, we standing tall, growing in the light
Everything is good, yeah we doing it right
We the Grade Seven crew, we moving with the flow
Taking in the knowledge everywhere that we go
Natasha Kasenga, yeah I’m holding it down
With the best school in the city, the finest in the town
Good habits, good vibes, that’s the way we play
Appreciating all the work you put in every day
Oh, we say thank you for the morals that you teach us
For the love and the guidance that is always there to reach us
May God bless the teachers, may the favor never end
Bethel Baptist Grade Seven, you’re more than just a friend
Yeah, we standing tall, growing in the light
Everything is good, yeah we doing it right
(Ayy, yoh)
Every prayer, every lesson, it’s a seed that we sow
In this place of honor, yeah we ready to grow
Blessings on the staff, blessings on the class
Making memories together that are built to last
Oh, we say thank you for the morals that you teach us
For the love and the guidance that is always there to reach us
May God bless the teachers, may the favor never end
Bethel Baptist Grade Seven, you’re more than just a friend
Yeah, we standing tall, growing in the light
Everything is good, yeah we doing it right
Natasha, we out here
Bethel Baptist for life, you know?
God bless the teachers, God bless the team
Yeah, we living out the dream
(Ayy, yoh)
Stay blessed.
