(Hallelujah)
God is good all the time
I look back at the days when the clouds were grey
My child was in the hospital, I didn’t know which way
To turn or how to pray, I felt the walls closing in
But Your grace was there, Lord, to wash away the sin
In the valley of the shadow, You held her hand so tight
You turned the heavy darkness into morning light
Yes Lord, I remember, I will never forget
The mercy that You showed me, the favor that I met
For God is good, all the time
His love is constant, a light that will shine
We thank You for the healing, we thank You for the grace
We see Your mighty power in this holy place
God is good, yes He is, all the time
Giving us the strength to keep climbing that mountain climb
Glory to the Highest, let the anthem ring
God is good, to Him we lift our praise and sing
And I remember when the burdens were heavy on my soul
Elder Isaac Phiri, you played your part to make me whole
You came to visit us, you brought the Word so true
Brother Clement Mbuzi, God used the hands of you
To lift our spirits up when we were sinking in the deep
Through the nights of worry, through the promises we keep
Bless them, Father, let Your favor overflow
For the kindness that they planted, let the harvest grow
For God is good, all the time
His love is constant, a light that will shine
We thank You for the healing, we thank You for the grace
We see Your mighty power in this holy place
God is good, yes He is, all the time
Giving us the strength to keep climbing that mountain climb
Glory to the Highest, let the anthem ring
God is good, to Him we lift our praise and sing
The Simbule family, we stand in gratitude today
For every single blessing that has come along the way
Praise Him, thank You Jesus, for the family and the friends
For a love that's everlasting and a grace that never ends
(Amen!)
So let the choir swell and let the organ play
We are walking in the sunshine of a brand new day
No matter what the trial, no matter what the pain
We know that God is working through the sunshine and the rain
Elder Isaac, Clement, we honor you tonight
But most of all we honor Him, the source of all our light
For God is good, all the time
His love is constant, a light that will shine
We thank You for the healing, we thank You for the grace
We see Your mighty power in this holy place
God is good, yes He is, all the time
Giving us the strength to keep climbing that mountain climb
Glory to the Highest, let the anthem ring
God is good, to Him we lift our praise and sing
God is good, all the time
Yes Lord, thank You Jesus
Simbule family, we stand in praise
God is good, forever and always
Amen.
