Nna! Oya! Eti Eka, Hon. Deaconess Mary Matthew Udo
This one na for you, from your Akpan Mummy
Chai, let's celebrate a queen!
Oh, listen to the story of a woman so true
Deaconess Mary, looking at the things you do
You hold the family down with a spirit so bright
Shining like a star in the middle of the night
From the city streets to the life that we lead
You are the garden planting every good seed
Omo, the grace upon your life is deep and wide
With you by my side, I have nothing to hide
Eti Eka, oh mama, you are the best
Above the rest, you pass every single test
Hon. Deaconess Mary, the pride of the land
We give you the honor, we give you the hand
Chop life today, let the rhythm take control
You bring the sunshine deep into my soul
Eti Eka, we celebrate your name today
In every single way, hip-hip-hooray!
Look at the way you carry your head with such grace
A smile that lights up every single place
You serve the people and you serve the Lord too
That is why the blessings keep coming to you
No wahala, mama, just enjoyment and peace
May your harvest of joy never ever decrease
From Enugu to Lagos, they know you are strong
You are the melody inside of my song
Eti Eka, oh mama, you are the best
Above the rest, you pass every single test
Hon. Deaconess Mary, the pride of the land
We give you the honor, we give you the hand
Chop life today, let the rhythm take control
You bring the sunshine deep into my soul
Eti Eka, we celebrate your name today
In every single way, hip-hip-hooray!
Omalicha mama, keep dancing for me
Let the music flow and let your spirit be free
We dey celebrate, we dey toast to the light
Everything you touch turns to pure delight
Ah ah! You are the queen of the dancefloor!
So when the horns blow, you just step in the room
Chasing away all the shadows and gloom
Akpan Mummy is proud, singing loud for the world
A banner of love is finally unfurled
Keep shining, keep winning, keep doing your thing
Let the joy of the heavens continue to ring
Oya, let the guitar speak for the queen!
Eti Eka, our legend
