One love, rise up, yeah
Jah bless the morning sun
The day is breaking over Bauchi town
The spirit is moving, let no one look down
Behind the market where the people meet
We’re walking together on the dusty street
To Yelwa Tudu where the light is bright
We’re shaking off the shadows of the lonely night
Come to Spirit Empowered Life Assembly
At 8am, set your heavy heart free
Oh, we gather at SELA, raise your voice to the sky
Under the morning sun, we’re gonna testify
Spirit Empowered Life, let the truth be told
In the house of grace, we are brave and bold
Leave the worries of the week behind
A peaceful sanctuary is what you’ll find
In the heart of the city, hear the music play
We’re turning our troubles into a brand new day
From every corner, come and take your stand
Across the nation and across the land
Come to Spirit Empowered Life Assembly
At 8am, set your heavy heart free
Oh, we gather at SELA, raise your voice to the sky
Under the morning sun, we’re gonna testify
Spirit Empowered Life, let the truth be told
In the house of grace, we are brave and bold
Easy now, let the spirit flow
Watch the seeds of the gospel grow
Behind the market, the doors are wide
There is no reason left to hide
So bring your family and your neighbor too
There’s a healing blessing waiting here for you
At eight o'clock we start the holy sound
Where the joy of the living can always be found
Come to Spirit Empowered Life Assembly
At 8am, set your heavy heart free
Oh, we gather at SELA, raise your voice to the sky
Under the morning sun, we’re gonna testify
Spirit Empowered Life, let the truth be told
In the house of grace, we are brave and bold
Yeah, we gather at SELA
Rise up, oh, rise up
Join the praise at 8am
Jah bless, one love, one love.
