Oh, heaven heard our cry
Yes, Lord, we felt Your hand
October twenty-sixth, the shadows fell so cold
The doctors spoke the words that broke our very souls
An infection in the ICU, nowhere left to turn
Watching my sweet princess as the fires seemed to burn
The news was heavy, Lord, it cut us to the bone
But even in that valley, we were not alone
Oh, Caylin Faith, you are a miracle of grace
We saw the hand of God upon your precious face
Where men said it was finished, and hope began to fade
We lifted up our broken hearts and for your mercy prayed
Yes Lord, You are the healer, the Giver of the breath
You reached into the darkness and You conquered death
October twenty-ninth, the room went deathly still
Thirty-five long minutes, yielded to Your will
My heart was torn asunder, the tears were falling fast
I thought the time we had with you had surely come to pass
But God whispered a promise, He said it’s not the end
He walked into the silence and He breathed life back again
Oh, Caylin Faith, you are a miracle of grace
We saw the hand of God upon your precious face
Where men said it was finished, and hope began to fade
We lifted up our broken hearts and for your mercy prayed
Yes Lord, You are the healer, the Giver of the breath
You reached into the darkness and You conquered death
From the weeping in the midnight
To the laughter in the morn
A testimony rising
Of a life that’s been reborn
Thank You Jesus, for the miracle
Thank You Jesus, for the light
Everything impossible is possible with You tonight
A year has passed in beauty, you’re growing strong and tall
My precious little princess, answering the call
Still walking in the favor of the One who holds the keys
We’re falling at the altar, falling on our knees
Praise Him for the rhythm of a heart that’s beating true
God, we give You all the glory for everything You do
Oh, Caylin Faith, you are a miracle of grace
We saw the hand of God upon your precious face
Where men said it was finished, and hope began to fade
We lifted up our broken hearts and for your mercy prayed
Yes Lord, You are the healer, the Giver of the breath
You reached into the darkness and You conquered death
Oh, Caylin Faith, our miracle
Hallelujah, yes Lord
You are still here, You are still strong
Thank You Jesus, for the gift of life
Amen, amen
