(Melodic vocal ad-libs)
Oh, hear the rhythm of the day
A celebration of a queen
Every February second, we shine
Oh, praise be to the One
Early morning sun rising on the horizon
Second of February, the world is brightly glowing
A special soul came down to earth on this day
My strong woman, you lead us in the righteous way
Wura Mi, the precious shine in my life
Rising above the storms, steady through the strife
Ayinke, your name is carried on the gentle breeze
You bring my spirit, my heart, and soul to ease
Oh, Folashade Ayinke, celebrate your day
Wura Mi, in a most beautiful way
From the womb opener, Omolola, I stand true
Singing praises to the Almighty for giving us you
You are the strength, the light that leads the way
Happy birthday to you, on this glorious day
Look at the grace that follows you wherever you go
Spreading the kindness that only you can show
You carried the burden, you lifted up the load
Walking with faith upon this narrow, holy road
My mother, my teacher, my shield in the rain
You taught me to smile even in the middle of pain
Gold Wura Mi, you are worth more than silver and gold
A story of virtue that forever will be told
Oh, Folashade Ayinke, celebrate your day
Wura Mi, in a most beautiful way
From the womb opener, Omolola, I stand true
Singing praises to the Almighty for giving us you
You are the strength, the light that leads the way
Happy birthday to you, on this glorious day
Every year the calendar marks this holy date
I thank the Creator for my fortunate fate
For you are the pillar, the wall, and the gate
To a life filled with blessings, don't let it be late
So gather the family, let the melody rise
Reflected in the sparkle of your beautiful eyes
Oh, Folashade Ayinke, celebrate your day
Wura Mi, in a most beautiful way
From the womb opener, Omolola, I stand true
Singing praises to the Almighty for giving us you
You are the strength, the light that leads the way
Happy birthday to you, on this glorious day
Shine on, Wura Mi
Ayinke, live long in peace
February second, a day of jubilee
From Omolola, with love that will never cease
(Fade out with percussion)
Peace and blessings upon your day.
