(Mmm, yeah)
We give thanks today, oh (I need you)
Father of mercies, You give us everything we hold
In Your green pastures, we are gathered in the fold
You planted this church with Your own mighty hand
Now we stand together as one in this land
(Baby, yeah) We're standing strong
Oh, let us bear the burden, let us share the light
Walking in the truth, doing what is right
For the widows and the sick, for the youth who wait
We open up our arms at the holy gate
(Oh, come here) At the holy gate
We thank You for the grace that we have found
Let Your holy spirit in this house abound
The work is plenty but the laborers are few
We lift up our hearts to offer praise to You
(Oh, yeah) We're praising You
Oh, let us bear the burden, let us share the light
Walking in the truth, doing what is right
For the widows and the sick, for the youth who wait
We open up our arms at the holy gate
We pray for our Pastor, we pray for the Elders too
Give them the vision, see the greatness in the view
(Mmm) Let the light shine bright
Guidance in the day, comfort in the night
Every step we take, we feel Your loving hand
Across this city, through the spirit of the land
We’re moving forward, yeah, we’re keeping on
Until the breaking of the morning dawn
Oh, let us bear the burden, let us share the light
Walking in the truth, doing what is right
For the widows and the sick, for the youth who wait
We open up our arms at the holy gate
We open up our arms (We give thanks today)
Yeah, we're gathered in the fold (So grateful)
(Mmm, yeah) Keeping the light alive
(Oh) We're grateful for Your grace.
