(Upbeat, celebratory brass section enters)
Yeah, yeah
It is the eighth of October
A special day, a royal day
Listen now
The sun is shining brighter on the eighth of October
The calendar has turned and the wait is finally over
I’m standing tall, feeling the grace inside my soul
Another year of life, another chapter to unfold
I lift my hands to heaven, thanking God for every breath
For shielding me from danger and protecting me from depth
It’s a brand new start, a brand new way to walk the line
I’m stepping into destiny, and baby, I will shine
Oh, happy birthday to the Queen, Beckykomz
Celebrating life with the beat of the drums
Eighth of October, let the whole world know
Watch the prosperity and the wisdom grow
Oh, happy birthday to the Queen, Beckykomz
Under the light of the morning sun
Blessings on blessings, it’s a beautiful day
Happy birthday Becky, in every single way
I’m looking back with gratitude at where I started from
I thank my mother Melody, she’s the place I call my home
And my father Kakoma, for the strength that he instilled
It’s because of their love that my cup is fully filled
I pray for God’s grace to be upon them every night
To keep them in health and keep their future shining bright
I’m carrying their legacy, I’m carrying their name
And today, this celebration, it’s never gonna be the same
Oh, happy birthday to the Queen, Beckykomz
Celebrating life with the beat of the drums
Eighth of October, let the whole world know
Watch the prosperity and the wisdom grow
Oh, happy birthday to the Queen, Beckykomz
Under the light of the morning sun
Blessings on blessings, it’s a beautiful day
Happy birthday Becky, in every single way
Health, wisdom, prosperity
That is the prayer that is growing in me
No weapon formed against this joy can stand
I’m walking forward, guided by a steady hand
New beginnings, new horizons, clearer view
Beckykomz is rising, and it’s all so true
I’m wiser than I was when I was just a year ago
I’ve got a river of abundance that is starting to flow
I’m thankful for the trials, I’m thankful for the peace
I’m thankful for the blessings that will never ever cease
So raise a glass of joy, let the music play on loud
I’m standing in the sunshine, far away from any cloud
Beckykomz the Queen, yeah, you know I’m here to stay
Celebrating life in a very special way
Oh, happy birthday to the Queen, Beckykomz
Celebrating life with the beat of the drums
Eighth of October, let the whole world know
Watch the prosperity and the wisdom grow
Oh, happy birthday to the Queen, Beckykomz
Under the light of the morning sun
Blessings on blessings, it’s a beautiful day
Happy birthday Becky, in every single way
Yeah, it’s my day
Eighth of October, remember the name
Beckykomz, the Queen is here
To more life, to more wisdom, to more health
We celebrate you today
Yeah, happy birthday
