[Verse 1 — A Reverent Heavenly Opening] Around
the
throne
stand
twenty-four
thrones,
Twenty-four
elders
before
the
Holy
One.
Clothed
in
white
garments,
with
crowns
of
gold,
They
bow
before
the
King
whose
glory
unfolds.
Falling
before
Him,
they
worship
in
awe,
Laying
their
crowns
at
the
feet
of
the
Lord.
Golden
bowls
of
incense
rise
through
the
air,
The
prayers
of
the
righteous
ascending
in
prayer.
They
sing
a
new
song
of
redemption
and
grace,
To
the
Lamb
who
was
slain,
now
exalted
in
place.
All
honour
and
glory
belong
to
the
King,
As
heaven
resounds
with
the
worship
they
bring.
[Chorus — Majestic and Soul-Stirring] And
what
is
a
crown
when
you
look
in
His
eyes?
What
is
earthly
glory
beneath
heaven's
skies?
They
lift
them
from
their
heads
and
bow
to
the
floor,
Giving
all
glory
to
the
One
they
adore.
Where
the
sound
of
many
waters
echoes
down,
They
fall
before
Him,
laying
golden
crowns.
Crying, “
Holy,
Holy,
Holy
is
the
King!”
The
twenty-four
elders
rise
no
higher
than
to
sing.
[Verse 2 — Harps, Strings and Heavenly Atmosphere] The
heavens
stand
still
as
they
gaze
at
His
face,
Overwhelmed
by
the
wonder
of
infinite
grace.
Harps
in
their
hands,
with
melodies
sweet,
Like
rivers
of
glory
flowing
at
His
feet.
They
sing
of
the
mercy
that
reaches
the
lost,
Of
love
that
redeemed
us
through
Calvary's
cross.
Every
tribe,
every
nation,
every
tongue,
Gathered
before
Him,
united
as
one.
Giving
Him
glory,
their
praises
ascend,
A
worship
that
rises
and
never
will
end.
Day
after
day,
through
eternity's
dawn,
The
song
of
the
elders
goes
on
and
on.
[Bridge — Soft, Prayerful, Then Gradually Rising] They
lay
down
their
crowns…
They
bow
to
the
ground…
All
heaven
is
silent
When
His
glory
surrounds. “
Holy,
Holy,
Holy,
Is
the
Lord
God
Almighty,
Who
was,
and
is,
And
is
to
come!”
He
is
worthy!
He
is
worthy!
Let
all
creation
sing!
He
is
worthy!
He
is
worthy!
All
glory
to
the
King!
[Chorus — Fuller Heavenly Worship] And
what
is
a
crown
when
you
look
in
His
eyes?
What
is
earthly
glory
beneath
heaven's
skies?
They
lift
them
from
their
heads
and
bow
to
the
floor,
Giving
all
glory
to
the
One
they
adore.
Where
the
sound
of
many
waters
echoes
down,
They
fall
before
Him,
laying
golden
crowns.
Crying, “
Holy,
Holy,
Holy
is
the
King!”
The
twenty-four
elders
sing!
[Worship Interlude — Harp, Flute, Violin and Soft Choir] Holy…
Holy…
Holy
is
the
Lord.
Worthy…
Worthy…
Worthy
is
the
Lamb.
All
glory…
All
honour…
All
power
belongs
to
You.
Jesus…
Jesus…
Forever
we
worship
You.
[Outro — Tender, Then Triumphant] Holding
their
harps
and
their
bowls
of
prayer,
A
heavenly
fragrance
fills
the
air.
No
more
sorrow,
no
sickness,
no
tears
to
endure,
In
the
presence
of
Jesus,
our
joy
is
secure.
Let
the
elders
begin
the
song,
Let
the
Church
on
earth
now
sing
along!
Let
every
nation
lift
its
voice,
And
in
the
Lamb
of
God
rejoice!
You
are
worthy,
Lord,
to
receive
All
glory,
honour,
and
majesty!
For
You
have
redeemed
us,
Your
praises
we
sing,
Forever
and
ever,
You
are
King!
Holy…
Holy…
Holy…
Jesus,
You
reign
forevermore.
Amen.
